Wheat Higher As Buyers Took Advantage of Pre-Black Friday Sales

Wheat futures have a dead cat bounce going at midday, with KC leading the way up to 14 cents. Chicago is up 2 cents in Dec with other contracts 6 to 7 ½ cents higher. They were down more than 20 cents on Wednesday. MPLS is up 5 to 7 cents. This morning’s delayed Export Sales report tallied a MY high 795,698 MT of wheat sales during the week of 11/19. That was well above last week’s MY low and 29.88% larger than the same week last year. Of that total, 501,852 MT was white wheat. China purchased 333,000 MT. In their tender on Thursday, Egypt’s GASC purchased 175,000 MT of Russian wheat.

DEC 19 CBOT Wheat is at $5.91, up 2 3/4 cents,
DEC 19 KCBT Wheat is at $5.57 3/4, up 14 cents,
DEC 19 MGEX Wheat is at $5.48 1/2, up 5 cents
